Mary Loving Blair

On June 26, 1972, Mrs. Mary Loving Blair, along with Father James J. Niles of The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, founded Parish Day School. As our founding headmistress, Mrs. Blair's vision and entrepreneurial spirit established the foundation of Parish and continues to be an integral part of our school community.

The Mary Blair Society, established in 2009 to honor the society's namesake, is a group of forward-thinking individuals who, like many visionaries in Parish’s history, have included the School in their planned giving.

Join the Mary Blair Society by naming Parish Episcopal School in your estate plans. Gifts can include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, life insurance policies and select gifts of real estate. Your membership in the society is ongoing. There is no minimum gift and gifts may be designated to a specific purpose, department or program. Undesignated gifts go toward building Parish’s endowment to provide a permanent and perpetual source of income for the School.

If you join the society, we can show our gratitude to you now for ensuring that the School will continue to inspire generations to come through your planned gifts, and will be able to build upon its strength and programs in perpetuity.

If you would like to explore planned giving options and join the Mary Blair Society, please contact Marci McLean, Chief Advancement Officer, at or 972.852.8750.
